Glad to join this lounge!
I just got into the world of DAWS, MIDI scoring, and film scoring. But the downside of this industry is that there's not that much tutorials or classes out there teaching how to create music or film scores, for example.
Can anyone here teach me how to do so? Does anyone at least know someone else who does or posts tutorials on the matter?
(I'm currently using Waveform as a DAW...but there shouldn't be much difference, right!?)

A fellow composer has a great YouTube Channel, where you can find tutorials on the scoring process, both in terms of workflow and music theory and advice on taking a Film Scoring Career and on Music Business regulations. Elena Maro is a great resource, Ahmed Mohammed Abd El-Sabour . I would also agree that there are a number of tutorials on YouTube that can help. I grew up a musician but did not focus on piano until not too long ago. YouTube became invaluable! All the best to you.

Welcome to the wold of scoring Ahmed Mohammed Abd El-Sabour ! I second Elena's recommendation of Anne-Kathrin's channel. There's also the cue tube (https://thecuetube.com/) and Spitfire Audio tutorials (https://www.youtube.com/@spitfireaudiollp). I'd also suggest checking out books like Acoustic And Midi Orchestration For The Contemporary Composer and On The Track..
There's also resources like Masterclass, or if you wanted bespoke tuition, you could find someone via a teaching website or somewhere like Fiverr/Upwork to offer you lessons. Your local college, university or arts centre may provide lessons too.
As for DAW, the best DAW is the one you know. I've had a quick look at Waveform and it looks fine, but I couldn't see if it offers video integration? As long as you have video integration, it doesn't really matter.

I was mainly looking for free resources, so masterclasses and fiverr won't be a great fit.
I was basically looking for a tutorial of sort. Like step by step tutorial, you know?

Ahmed I am happy to report that I have used Cockos Reaper as my DAW for the past 10 years. It is "freeware" meaning that the software is fully functional regardless of whether you are able to pay for the license. The license itself is also inexpensive at US$60. It has video integration and is extremely user friendly and lots of YouTube tutorials. Check it out!

Thank you for mentioning Cockos reaper- havent tried it. Actual I am working with LMMS, which is real freeware. But not really easy to handle so I will give reaper a try.
