Elaine Haygood

Wow. Do I have to choose? I mean, I LOVE so many of Miyazaki-Sensei's films, and for different reasons.

But, if I must choose. I will go with Nauusica. It was the first Studio Ghibli film I saw. But, back in the 80's when it was originally shown on cable, it was titled, Warriors of The Wind".

I actually scored a copy of it in the 90s and that was how I introduced my sons to anime.

Geoff Hall

Elaine Haygood it must be wonderful to have such a body of work! What an amazing man.

Ashley Renee Smith

What a cool video, Geoff Hall, thank you for sharing. My favorite is probably Princess Mononoke!

Geoff Hall

Ashley Renee Smith ah, me too Ashley, but I need to buy more Miyazaki DVDs!

Eon C. Rambally

Geoff Hall,, Hayao Miyazaki certainly is, one of the great names, in the history of anime, lots of spectacular diversities.. For me it will be the, Alternate Worlds!

Brian Maxwell

Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro is my favorite. I love the action and chase scenes!

Kevin Jackson

Very hard to choose. I would have to say Princess Mononoke at the moment. It might change depending on the weather.

Brian Smith

I love Princess Mononoke, Castle in the Sky, and Spirited Away. I know there's nothing earth-shattering about those choices, but they're amazing films. Also, the Acadamy Museum at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art had a Miyazaki exhibit last year and did a screen of My Neighbor Totoro. If you ever get a chance to see that, or any of them really, on the big screen, I can't recommend it enough.

Brian Smith that makes me wish I lived in LA! That’s a great recommendation.
