Hello all, just wanted to share some BTS photos from our recent shoot for Australian Gothic supernatural thriller 'ANIMAL' :)

Incredibly proud of our team who worked together to get most of a 30-40 minute film in the can within a week.
Our cast and crew had to work very quickly and let the weather guide us, collaborate under a lot of pressure, and keep finding opportunities: a new location, a bonus shot, a change of plan offered by new weather.
They achieved this and made it look easy... whether they were nailing a shot or scene in one take, coming up with solutions or ideas, speaking up when something was needed, cooking / washing up, or just being there to help with an open ear, excitement, jokes and immense goodwill.
You can follow us on @animalfilmaus and #animalfilmaus
And would love to connect with other producers and directors making similar stuff!

The BTS photos look great, Jessica B! Glad you all were able to overcome the challenges and finish the shoot. What was the biggest challenge?

Thanks Maurice. The biggest challenge was wearing so many hats…unavoidable in this case due to resources but I was constantly navigating that.

You're welcome, Jessica B. Wearing so many hats on set sounds hard. What's your plan for ANIMAL?

We shall see. When it's ready (next year) we'll submit to festivals..am also developing it as an anthology series, so it will be a POC for that.
