So here is something that's on my mind. So I'm in this online course for screenwriting for the Toronto Film School and I ask my instructor this question, are pilot scripts for pilots 30 pages long and for hour long pilots 60 minutes long or they are just for network TV 22 to 44 pages long. Because I'm trying to sell pilot scripts here and I want to know if they are 30 pages long or shorter and hour long TV scripts 60 pages or shorter, because I'm getting confused.

Hour long is 60 pages for cable, streamers. For network TV - ABC, CBS, NBC - aim for 50 (and check if they want Act Breaks in the script). The only half hour shows I'm familiar with are Sit Coms, pilots are 25 pages (again, if for Network TV check format for act breaks).
Thank you for your comment, but I am just writing animated scripts for children's TV and some of them are for adult cartoons, and I just want to know if it's ok to write scripts that are 30-35 pages long for pilot scripts. I'm trying to advertice my work.

A producer I am working with at the BBC has asked for 48 pages per episode. Is that standard, might be for the BBC. That is the only TV experience I have.
Usually 60 pages. I use Act breaks.

You're writing for tv - leave room for the commercials. I've no idea what the BBC wants.

If your intentions are to sell to a streaming service, then the number of pages aren't so anal.
