I'm still not quite sure what "Grown Up Movies" are. Is there a precise definition?

This is a great genre - so many films like this in the works and stars who want to be in them. Excited for this contest!

Ashley Renee Smith It did catch my eye, Ashley, because, well, I thought I had a grown-up script, but the examples of Book Club and Old Dads means this is probably a mis-match for my script.

When I was a kid, one of my favorite movies with the original GOIN' IN STYLE with George Burns, Lee Starssberg and Art Carney. A tour de force for those amazing actors. It's awesome to see films in this genre continuing to excel.

Is this for features and pilots?

Both, Francisco Castro. It says "Open to Feature Films and TV Pilot Scripts!" (www.stage32.com/happy-writers/contests/2nd-Annual-Grown-Up-Movies-Screen...)

Did the contest change its submission policies cuz it only says "Open To Feature Film Scripts" now? There's no "TV Pilot Scripts" anymore.

Very excited to be a finalist for this as well! My script is EXILED TO LEISURE VILLAGE and it's based on that time when I had to move in with my elderly (yet much more energetic than me) mom in a senior citizen community. Congrats to all the finalists!
