I've recently revised the log-lines of two (2) of my projects: Dead of Night and Saving Emma. Recent expert commentary suggest that sometimes one has to violate a few rules. The key is knowing the rules, before deciding to violate them.
Dead of Night:
Virgil Tibbs meets John Wick when a world-famous former LAPD homicide-wiz turned millionaire author with a gun, sex life, and attitude tracks a sadistic killer but becomes the hunted.
Saving Emma:
A precocious 7-year-old heroine with uncanny powers, her mysterious terrier and unearthly forces defend her family from her father’s ruthless enemies determined to destroy them.
