Taking an excuse to look away from this script and say hi!
As I mentioned last month, one of my goals this year is to be more active on this site. I have varying degrees of success.
Currently, I'm pouring through one of my pilots line by line to prepare it for pitches and contests. It's the one that's the furthest along and I'm the most happy with it.
What's everyone else working on? What are you hoping to work on? As we're in the second month of the year, how are those 2024 goals coming?

I'm working on a feature spec script and pitch deck job. My main goal for 2024 is sell two or three feature scripts, and my second goal is to read more scripts and read more books. I just got a script request the other day, so I'm closer to reaching my main goal. I've been reading more scripts. I haven't read any books yet, but I have a few books I'm thinking about starting with.

My goals are going well, thanks. A film in development and I continue to write my animated urban fantasy. All good here, thanks.
I want to reread some of the books I read growing up, Mary Helen Norris. Like "The Contender" and "The Giver." I also want to read some of the books that are posted in Stage 32's Read a Good Book Lately? Lounge, like "NYPD Red 4" (www.stage32.com/lounge/books_publications/Pleasant-surprise-from-budget-...). Actually, I better start with "NYPD Red."

Maurice Vaughan I need to take a look at their suggestions. I’m trying to throw more books into my Audible account. I’ve got an hour commute to work every day and am trying to read more via audiobooks.
Currently working my way through Shonda Rhimes “Year of Yes”
Question: Whats a better topic to write about Gender Equality or Equality in general?
I've tried audiobooks, but my mind drifts when I listen to them, Mary Helen Norris.
