HI, I am here at Stage 32 to meet fellow likeminded individuals who live in this work of movies and the arts. I recently won second place in the Stage 32 AFM pitch sessions, it was an amazing experience. I grew up in Jamaica at a time when my exposure to Hollywood was through musicals like On The Town and Singing in the Rain, with Gene Kelly, epic productions like Samson and Delilah with Deborah Kerr and Kung Fu movies. As a kid, I would don the bath towel wig and recite in the mirror lines I knew so well and I would daydream. Most days I am still that kid, daydreaming and hoping, except now I am pursuing. I have ditched fear at the last exit and am taking the wheel in my life.
I am a screen writer, producer, director, singer, songwriter, kinda like Barbra Streisand, but without the credits, knowledge or experience, but I am here for it all. I am embarking on shooting my first short film and I am excited, scared but fully committed. I believe.

Hi Amanda Toney, thank you. Right now I am working on shooting my first project, a short film "IRL (In Real Life)". I am working on putting together a crew and cast to make it happen. I have completed 2 screenplays, this short and an episodic series pilot and I continue to write. I have also entered my pitch session script "My Name is Billie" in a couple of the contests offered by Stage 32 so fingers crossed! Hoping this will lead to finding representation to be able to connect with the talent I see when I write.
