Taking up space during a Write-In...

When I was a stand-in on Transparent, the production team would form a circle before the day started. It was an open invitation for anyone to say anything they felt they needed to say: a thank you, a stressful story, a meaningful story. There were frequent tears and it was a rather healing experience to see a production team do that before every shoot day.

I just soft-launched Flow Your MoJo, a writing community that invites screenwriters and authors to use tarot cards to access their intuition and connect with their own unique voice.

Within Flow Your MoJo, I’m going to be having a few write-ins a week where the first 10-15 minutes will be our own (online) circle where Mojos—that’s the nickname I think I want to give to the members of this community—a space to tell others where they’re at in their journey, get practice taking up space, feeling special, have a story they need to get off their chest for whatever reason, and ask for help/advice.

If you’d like to be a member of Flow Your MoJo, our first Write-In is scheduled for Tuesday, May 7, at 4 pm Pacific Standard Time.

If you want more information about FlowYour MoJo, head on over to the link below where you can read more about it and if you still have more questions, feel free to reach out. We’d love to have you.

Happy writing!
