This script would be a film crew's dream. The following four locations are within WALKING distance of each other-- The Roosevelt Hotel, The TCL Chinese Theater, The Cinerama Dome Theater, and the In-N-Out Burger on Sunset Boulevard.
BROCK’S HORROR-FEST WALKING TOUR: HOLLYWOOD / The Roosevelt Hotel.
Horror film star-turned serial killer, Trey Wallace, races against time to stop his Final Girl co-star, Lisa Martinez, from knocking on the door of DEATH SCREAM 4's highly-intoxicated producer’s hotel room, whom she helped put to bed an hour earlier. The room is now empty. Trey murdered producer Ellis Trent and has already disposed of the body. Our killer fears hotel management may get involved, for Trey was the last person in the room when Ellis took his last breath. Lisa and the hotel manager eventually cross the threshold, to which she reacts: "There's no way in hell he took an Uber."

Cool to see your creative flow. The Roosevelt is such an amazing hotel and location. Wishing you huge success with HORROR-FEST, Bill Brock!

Great idea shooting videos of locations that appear in your script, Bill Brock. You could put the videos together as one video and use it when you pitch. Kinda like a sizzle reel/mood reel.

Sam Sokolow Thanks so much, Sam! Agreed! I, too, enjoy staying at The Roosevelt. Occupied a room there during my first Bev Hills nomination back in 2019 and instantly fell in love with the place. Looking forward to submitting HORROR-FEST to next year's Beverly Hills Film Fest in hopes that the judges get a kick out of the Roosevelt connection (AND well-paced, unique script) in order to secure another nomination. May is shaping up to be a busy month for me, for I'll be attending the Block Island Film Festival (Rhode Island) in a few weeks to celebrate HORROR-FEST's first nomination. GO HORROR! : )

Maurice Vaughan An excellent idea, Maurice! Evidently, I'm a bit shaky on the commentary, for I've never done it before-- Walking and talking in a very public place with a phone in my hand. Oh, well. I tried my best. I'll just fake it 'til I make it. Always out there exploring alternative methods to present scripts. This one's the latest. : )

Chase Cysco Thanks, Chase. Sure would've loved to have tackled those 12 flights of stairs, though. How's THAT for trippy? : )

Bill, you did a good job of trying to create the visual, bringing the words to location and then to descriptive action. Thank you.

Maurice Vaughan Thank you, Maurice! With a 30-year acting career behind me (Some film, TV, and countless stage productions- I mean, come on?! I played Stanley Kowalski in A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE!) one would think I could nail this! Anyway, thank you for the support. This is my first time ever commenting on video in public.... of all places... Hollywood. YIKES!!!

Robin Gregory Thank you, Robin. More to come! Thanks to your marketing genius, I've decided to change my screenwriting name to Spunky Brock, or perhaps to satisfy my growing Hispanic fan base, Brock de la Spunk.

Dustin Richardson Same here, Dustin. Great meeting you! Shocked we didn't get a photo together, yet I believe it speaks volumes to the engaging conversation we shared. Who needs pics when two hotel poolside dudes have mastered the gift of the Blah-Blah-Blah?

J. Austin Gentry Thank you, J.! So glad you enjoyed it. Be careful what you wish for. Five more episodes to come! After episode 2, you'll be like, "Geeze! I was just trying to be nice. Now I've got to sit through MORE episodes of this wannabe pushing his stupid script?! Ugggh! What did I get myself into?"

Bill Brock . Catchy names. There's always Spunky Le Brock. Ha! But now I'll always picture you as Spunky Stanley. :-).
Robin Gregory HA! No more calls! We have our winner! Yes! Spunky Le Brock. Love it! Has that Bougie European Flair to it. Plus, I can lie to people by telling them actress Kelly Le Brock (whom I've actually met) is my sister.

Bill Brock ... yeah... show each location, why they matter to the story, etc, and if it's done well enough it could really add some color
