Morgan Freeman doesn't look 87, Chase Cysco. He said "and they'll only take two shots" near the end of the video. I wonder if he was joking (he laughed) or if he was serious. And I wonder if other filmmakers have a "shot" limit.

Maurice Vaughan That's a great insight! I haven't had the chance to shoot at that level yet, but I did have a moment chatting with David Robert Mitchell once. His girlfriend at the time and my older sister were close, so we had a brief conversation. He mentioned that "Time is money, and too many shots that could be one-takers can really add up for the whole production." He shared that shooting "Under the Silver Lake" cost between $6k to $9k per day, just to get started. That's not even considering if they nailed the perfect scene—that's just to get the cameras rolling, feed mouths, and fuel the equipment! It's a lot of money involved, so I'd guess he's probably not exaggerating. The faster, more experienced directors, actors, and DPs would likely be the best investment to keep those costs in check.(:
