Coffee & Content: Are You Being Intentional In All Of Your Choices?

Stage 32’s founder and CEO, Richard “RB” Botto, shares two videos in today’s blog.

The first video analyzes Jeremy Allen White’s award-winning performance as Carmy Berzatto in FX's The Bear.

In the second video, RB talks about the importance of being mindful and intentional in choosing the people that you surround yourself with.

There’s things in both videos that actors, screenwriters, filmmakers, etc. can use. Grab your coffee/tea/juice/etc. and jump in!

William Joseph Hill

This was a really good Coffee & Content that RB shared -- I really got a lot out of it.

Maurice Vaughan

So did I, William Joseph Hill. I picked up some screenwriting tips from The Bear video.

Brandy Camille

I have never watched "The Bear" but I definitely will watch now! The was an amazing share!

Maurice Vaughan

The Bear is next on my watch list, Brandy Camille. I don't know a lot about it, but that's the way I like it when I watch a new series or movie.

Brandy Camille

Same. I only know what people are saying about it the media but it definitely seems lie it lives up to the hype.

Saw the blog and certainly left my comment Maurice Vaughan ! To say this is "exceptional talent" is an understatement! An envision and anticipation of mine, that brings a whole new perspective of evolving things and era! In fact, will like to see something like an AMA, or discussion done on it. Respects to all comments! I believe this to be of much significance!

Brandy Camille

What I loved is that you can tell he thought all the way through the character as a person. Down to the most minor nuance. Reminds me of Tom Hanks and his performance as Forrest Gump.

Maurice Vaughan

That's when a character really stands out, Brandy Camille. And it's exciting to notice those details when rewatching a show or movie, when a filmmaker/screenwriter/actor/etc. does an interview, and when looking at behind-the-scenes videos.

The moment I opened the blog was crucial for me to see the very content I needed as the insight, deep and suppressed feelings of the protagonist are so native to the character I am going to write about in the near future...thank you, really, it is a must watch film, I will do...

Richard "RB" Botto

Always thrilled when C&C hits the mark! Thanks all!

Bill McCormick

Maurice Vaughan, no. I wing it and have no regrets.

Maurice Vaughan

That's great, Bill McCormick. Whatever works for you.
