So I was a little bit shocked when I got the email notification today that I had made the Second Round in the Drama Feature category of the Austin Film Festival screenwriting competition. AFF says I placed in the top 20 percent of submissions. It's my best contest showing ever for a film script. It's titled "The Red Feather". Here's the logline: In 1962, a homicide detective re-assigned to a vice unit targeting gay men finds rampant corruption and unearths a conspiracy to hide his brother's murder.
Curious readers can find my script on my S32 profile: https://www.stage32.com/profile/1095401/Screenplay/The-Red-Feather

Congratulations on The Red Feather making it to the Second Round, Joseph Follansbee!
I’m a Stage 32 Lounge Moderator. I wanted to let you know that I moved your post from the Screenwriting Lounge to the Your Stage Lounge because it's promoting an outside contest (a non-Stage 32 contest). Let me know if you have any questions.
