About Stage32 Webinars...

Hi there! Hope you can help me out but, I've been saving some money to improve my craft, specifically how to write horror, since there are a lot of gigs recently popping up. The thing is, what could you guys tell me about the webinars here at the network? Are they worth the investment? They are quite costly and I don't want to regret it. Thanks in advance!

Maurice Vaughan

Hi, Julio Torres. The webinars are definitely worth the investment! I learned a lot from them! Here are two webinars I took that I recommend:

"Writing Horror to Scare Up the Big Bucks" www.stage32.com/education/products/writing-horror-to-scare-up-the-big-bu...

"How to Keep Pacing and Jump Scares on Point in Your Horror Feature Film" (this webinar's about more than pacing and jump scares): www.stage32.com/education/products/how-to-keep-pacing-and-jump-scares-on...

Bill Albert

Have you read any horror scripts just to see how they come across on paper?

Hi Julio Torres - I have to say the Stage 32 education library is bar none the best education in the global entertainment industry. I should know because I've been overseeing it for the last 12 years. I have literally traveled the world to see the type of education organizations bring to creative communities and have programmed accordingly. We are the proud education partner of Netflix, Cannes Film Festival, the American Film Market, Canon and over a dozen film commissions and organizations around the world. My #1 recommendation for our best horror writing class was taught by David McKendry: https://www.stage32.com/education/products/how-to-write-a-flawless-horro.... My team works hand in hand on the curriculum with our educators to make sure that we are getting our community what they need. That's why we have a 97% satisfaction level. if you have specific quesitons, reach out to us at edu@stage32.com - we'll help however we can!

thank you so much for your answers. I can only afford one webinar and I’ll take your suggestions heartily. I’ve read horror script but I don’t feel like the genre comes easily for me. I know how to write action and fantasy so far, so I may need a bit of help with this genre. thanks again!
