Screenwriting : Pitch Sessions by Michael Keeling

Pitch Sessions

Hi All,

I was wondering how long pitches take to deliver? I’ve been waiting a month for mine as I ordered it on the 18th of last month.

Chase Cysco

pitch sessions can sometimes take a bit longer than expected, especially if they’re backed up with other projects or waiting for the right timing with producers. A month feels a bit on the longer side, but it’s not unheard of. Maybe give them a follow-up nudge, just to check in and see if they can give you a clearer timeline. Sometimes it’s all about that gentle reminder!

Michael Keeling

Chase Cysco Yeah that’s what I was thinking, a month is a bit long. Do I just contact support?

Hi, Michael Keeling. I usually get feedback from a Pitch Session in 1-2 weeks. Email writerhelp@stage32.com.

Well if it's a written pitch it may take a while. You could pitch today Oct. first in writing but the pitchee won't even see it, I believe, until the day s/he does the online pitches, which might be, say, Oct. 18th, and then it could be another two weeks before you'll hear back, which would be more than one month's time. At least that's how I believe the process works. If you choose to pitch live, online, then you should get emailed choices as to when you wish to schedule the time fairly soon.

I have never waited that long. Once about three weeks but not 30 days.

You may have missed the email notice...that happened to me. Otherwise, suggest reaching out to writerhelp@stage32.com or support@stage32.com and best wishes.
