Hi Everybody!
My name is Ashley Smith and I’m Head of Community here at Stage 32!
Prior to joining this incredible team, I spent nearly 7 years at a boutique development and talent management company where I was deeply involved with every development project, management client, and administrative aspect of running the company. I oversaw a rich development slate of films, ongoing series, and limited series across genres and developed projects for Amazon, Sony TV, FX, Universal TV, Paramount TV, Legendary Global, MGM, A&E, Concord Originals, and many others.
Here at Stage 32, I’m honored to oversee this fantastic Community. As well as the daily Blog, weekly AMAs, monthly in-person Meetups, and numerous volunteer efforts to make your time here at Stage 32 as helpful and resourceful as possible. It’s always my goal to bring you all exciting resources and information to help you network, connect, and learn more about various disciplines and processes within the entertainment industry. I’d love to know what you all enjoy most about being a part of the Stage 32 community, what you’d like to see more of, the kind of AMAs that you’d like to see in the lounges, and the type of blog topics that you would enjoy!
Now that it's finally FALL, what are your favorite activities or traditions for this time of year? I love all things Halloween, so I get excited to get my fall decorations out, go to haunted houses, ride roller coasters at Six Flags Fright Fest, gobble up Trader Joe's fall snacks, drink hot apple cider, and watch non-stop Halloween and Horror movies. On Halloween every year we watch Hocus Pocus, and on Thanksgiving, my husband and I cook a feast while watching our favorite Thanksgiving movies all day long. What about you?
Don’t be a stranger! I look forward to connecting with you all.

Happy Introduce Yourself Weekend, Ashley Renee Smith! One of my favorite traditions for fall is to watch Horror movies and eat chocolate candy. And drink hot chocolate!

Happy IY Weekend Ashley Renee Smith - what an incredible post today! Here it starts to cool down quite a bit so I love going out for walks with my beloved and seeing the leaves change color. It's so beautiful. For Thanksgiving, our tradition is to watch a Trek movie and make Puerto Rican food.

Maurice Vaughan, when it comes to chocolate bars I'm a Twix and Kit Kat fan. But I also love dark chocolate-covered almonds, Raisinets (with buttered popcorn), and chocolate truffles. I also LOVE Darrell Lea's Rocklea Road Chocolate Bar, but I can only find it in certain places like World Market and Cracker Barrel. My husband usually tracks a few down for my Christmas Stocking every year.

Leonardo Ramirez, I also love taking walks in the Fall, especially now that we have Rupert because he gets so excited about jumping in piles of crunchy leaves. I may need to do Thanksgiving at your house sometime! That sounds delicious!

Hey, Ashley. KitKats saved my life in Japan! Chocolate is hard to find there, but you can get KitKats out of the vending machines anytime. I'm a writer, but have done a little acting. I produced my 3-act play, Midnight in the Temple of Isis, at the Faulkner Gallery in Santa Barbara. I've written a couple dozen works for the stage, a screenplay or two, and I've published 11 books, so far, including a new one this past week. It explains a bunch of things, like déjà vu, hypnic jerks, bipolar disorder, sleepwalking, relapse, etc. It's free on KU, if you're signed up.

That's great, Jeff Guenther, are your books self-published?
