So I'm there, sitting on my bed, realizing that I didnt stopped This Is Us and kept playing all night and as Im about to turn it off, it makes me realize the months I've been stagnant with my scripts and how I can just write and stop worrying about it. And now Im at the dining room, writing and writing, eager to finish this and many ideas on my mind. This show is amazing man, it gave me the inspiration to start writing again. Its definitely on my repeat watchlist now. P.S. Either this show is made to cry or im just a lil bitch haha. Do you guys have a show that inspired you to keep writing?

Glad you're back writing, Julio Torres! I don't think I have a show that inspired me to keep writing, but there are movies and shows that inspire me to keep stepping up my writing game. Movies like Smile 2, The Substance, and The Shadow Strays, and shows like The Wire, Breaking Bad, and Shōgun.

I like shows for their banter and characters, but very few shows inspire me to write. Although it's not to say where inspiration comes from. It could be as little as a look one character gives to another or a line of dialog or even a bird outside your window. That's what great about inspiration. It comes to us in all forms. The secret is learning to recognize it.
