I sent my completed draft of 'In Hot Soup' to the moderator of my script group last night for distribution to the reviewing team. November goal (a completed script) has been nailed :-) Now I have the pleasure (sic) of five days of doubts and jitters until the group meets to discuss my script in person next Wednesday evening. With 25 members in the group, and two rounds of comments, I'm guaranteed at least 50 notes to come away with (and decide to action, ignore, or 'take under advisement'). The process works though. Every script I've developed this way has won awards and high placements in screenwriting contests (and recently an OWA)
NB - And as a reward for completion, I get to defrost the other half of the pumpkin pie I made at Halloween. You gotta give yourself a few treats in this biz!
