Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everybody! I'm trying to juggle two loves- music and screenwriting, In the early 70s my band got a record deal, so we quit college and got on the same record label as The Who (if you ever heard of them :)). We performed with legends such as Springsteen, Lynyrd Skynyrd, James Taylor, Atlanta Rhythm Section and many others. Nine years later, I went to law school and di entertainment and corporate law. Quit a few years ago to get back into music, and one day my good friend, who worked for Largo Productions (Die Hard ,etc.) bugged me to write a screenplay about my Casino legal experience, because of the many funny occurrences that happened. I did, but pivoted and focused on a RomCom about online dating for Baby Boomer, post divorce, called "Love Has No Geography." Surprisingly, it was selected to many Film Festivals, winning a few, and selected to Beverly Hills Film Festival in May. I've been Querying hundred of studios and Producers. Five are looking at it, but it's been months of waiting, as well know. I have a new Screenplay which I'm starting to promote- ironically about the Journey of an American Rock Band in the Seventies (the best musical decade-according to me :) Glad to be here, and hope everyone gets their shot!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, Frank McDonnell! Your band got on the same record label as who? :D Congratulations on the success with Love Has No Geography! I like the title!
