Awesome interview with Nosferatu prosthetic makeup effects designer David White

The inspiration, creativity, time, detail, care and commitment to bring a character like Count Orlok in NOSFERATU to the screen is what the work is all about. Such an amazing job by all involved with extra hat tip to Bill Skarsgård for committing to the 6-hours in the chair to become this character. https://variety.com/2025/artisans/news/bill-skarsgard-nosferatu-transfor...

Yeah, the movie looks great and should win lots of technical awards but I didnt enjoy the movie at all and I get the sense the audience at my screening (75-80% ppl capacity) didnt love it either. I am not rushing to tell friends and coworkers Nosferatu is must-see.

Dan MaxXx - that's the beauty of movies - we all see the same film and yet different movies. I've heard mixed reviews from different people. Apparently, the monster box office opening that it had was driven but millenial men looking for counter programming over the holiday.

Sam Sokolow I saw it at Alamo Drafthouse and screenings were sold out for opening week. For my 11:30am it was 75-80% full. I did scan the crowd and it was 60/40 men & women. But the front rows were all dudes in raincoats drooling over vampire sex lol
