Hi, Ayesha Khan. I'm doing well. Hope you are too. You could post your logline, synopsis, and script on your profile. Producers search profiles on here for projects. Click the gear symbol in the top right-hand corner and select “Edit profile” in the drop-down menu. Scroll down to “Loglines” and click “Add/edit loglines” to the right of “Loglines.” You can also post your project on your profile this way (near the top where it says “Add a Logline”): www.stage32.com/loglines
Hi Ayesha Khan - there are many platforms to choose from but do your research and don't get scammed. Also, if you haven't already, (IMO) get some reliable coverage (not from a cheap hack) that provides a detailed scorecard and pass/consider/recommend from folks such as S32, Scriptapalooza, Shore Scripts... Some will even pitch your script to their contact list if your score well enough. Write on!
0 platforms. I dont think there is a service website tied to a distribution deal. There has to be money set aside to buy & develop scripts and lots of time invested.
I think the closest we ever got to a platform actually producing and distributing scripts found online was the first iteration of Amazon Studios. Sadly, they suddenly pulled development of all the scripts they'd attached producers to and shut that version of the site down. The writers found out via the press. Brutal.
CJ Walley amazon actually paid money, $30,000; I talked to a writer who got Amazon $$$ and he had a fantastic experience with Amazon. No indiction that exes werent serious about making movies... until they werent
Dan MaxXx, yes, sorry, didn't mean to imply otherwise. There were some competitions with big prizes too. One guy won over six figures for winning a storyboarding one. I had a script highlighted as one of their "notable projects". They only picked 50 out of nearly 10,000. I never really knew what that meant but they featured my script on their website and promoted me on social media. I went on to have a #4 on Amazon Prime in the US, and last year one of their global heads said they'd take a look at a script I'd written.
It is difficult to sell, so please consider filming yourself as a no-budget film. If you feel uncomfortable with directing people, one alternative is animation. And once I created a doll movie.
Yes, it is 103 minutes long. A disaster happened so I realized that it would be unrealistic to film with actors in the normal way. So I used a chromakeybackground and a morphsuit. I filmed one doll at a time and moved each doll with strings and sticks. Filming took less than 100 hours. Editing took 600 hours because I had never filmed that way earlier. I hated filming it this way because it was definitely not fun to watch the result, but at least it was better doing it this way than not filming at all.
Here is a link to the trailer. It is in my native language.

There is no best platform, and none of them really compare to networking. You are more than welcome to come join Script Revolution though.
