Entry 014
This past week has been a whirlwind of conversations, progress, and reflection. It started with a great discussion with Lavender and Ais about the project. They brought up some thought-provoking questions that really challenged me to evaluate the business plan. Their insights pushed me to strip it down to the essentials, focusing on clarity and directness for investors. After refining it, I felt a lot more confident in how the project can be organized for profitability and sustainability. That clarity was a big win and has made me feel more focused moving forward.
Midweek, I had the opportunity to pitch my idea to the Boys & Girls Club in my area. I emphasized how a partnership could be beneficial for both sides, and I think the meeting went well. They said they’d discuss it and get back to me before Friday. Afterward, I sent a follow-up email, thanking them and sharing additional details to make sure they have everything they need. Now, it’s just a matter of waiting to hear their decision.
Toward the end of the week, I visited the Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, and it was such an inspiring experience. The talent and passion there were undeniable. Talking to the students reminded me how important it is to stay dedicated to the craft, even when the road gets tough. It was a great reminder of why I’m doing all of this.
Another high point this week was the success of my first and second blog posts. They were well-received, and I couldn’t be more thankful for everyone who made it possible. The blog team has been incredible, and I also want to acknowledge the people before me who helped hone my writing skills. Without their guidance and support, I wouldn’t be able to communicate my vision in the way I do now.
Finally, I connected with a girl named Giulia, an incredibly driven artist with a clear vision for her goals. Her focus and determination really stood out, and it’s exciting to think about how we might collaborate as I work on building awareness for this project.
This week has left me energized but also aware of how massive this undertaking really is. There are so many moving parts, and sometimes it feels overwhelming. But at the same time, it’s thrilling to see it all come together, piece by piece. This is bigger than me, and that’s what makes it worth it. I’m ready to keep pushing, no matter how daunting it feels, because I know it’s going to lead to something unforgettable.
