Hey y'all ◡̈
I'm Angela Mack, an aspiring screenwriter and filmmaker based in San Antonio, TX. God-willing, however, I will be relocating to the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas in a few months!
I grew up watching older classic movies with my parents and my love for cinema has only grown as I've gotten older. Some of my favorites include Once Upon a Time in...Hollywood, Ponyo, and Whisper of the Heart (love studio ghibli! lol).
In 2023, I had the privilege of beginning my film crew experience by working on a San Antonio local film called "Stitched" as a Production Assistant. It was a phenomenal experience so I continued to find work and help friends in whatever crew work I could find. Some of my experience includes being a PA, Set PA, 1st AD, and Set Designer.
Recently, I've been dabbling in screenwriting (I'm working on a feature length script right now!) and am looking to network and connect with fellow creatives and storytellers. ♡✧˚ ༘ ⋆。♡˚

Kat Spencer I would say the long days and nights were my favorite experience. Being in a communal space with friends for 12+ hour shoots, and even some all-nighters, was so fun and I wouldn't trade it for anything!!

Maurice Vaughan My feature script can probably be classified as a comedic drama!

Hey Angela Mack - so very nice to meet you and welcome to Stage 32! I switched over from authoring books to writing screenplays and it was a fun journey. Also recently had an exec mention a work that would be great for Studio Ghibli which surprised me. But that's half of why we're here which is to learn. All the best in all you do!

Hello Angela. Although I’ve been screenwriting, they’re not quite finished. I hope they’ll all become reality.

Maurice Vaughan Thanks! I'm aiming for it to be about 90 pages, so a 90 minute feature.

You're welcome, Angela Mack. 90 is great! That's what I aim for when I write scripts. You might already know this, but it's a great idea to get feedback on your script after you're finished writing it. Stage 32 has feedback services (www.stage32.com/scriptservices).
