Screenwriting : Revelations by Jaylan Jackson

Revelations

You know I've been trying to figure out how to get started with my script and what I found is that I am not a sit-down writer. When I'm a coffee shop or library I can get up and act out the scenes in my head then go back and write down whatever is going on in my head. The progression has been awesome. Just the fact learning something that simple about myself has built my confidence up a little bit, not even a little bit, exponentially Just sitting at my desk or in front of my laptop my ideas just sit swirling in my head with no direction. When I get up and move around so does the rest of me. I just wanted to put that out there. Hope everyone is getting pen to paper however you get it Just get it!

That's great that you found out what works for you, Jaylan Jackson! Different writers have different methods. I'm a mix of sit down & write and act out scenes in my head. Glad it built your confidence up!

Having YOUR process is key, whatever works, right? I get most of my best ideas while walking my Golden Retriever.
