That is a huge leap and massive signal that demand for animated content isn’t slowing down anytime soon, Ashley Renee Smith! I've been thinking about writing more animation. This report makes me want to actually do it. I'm always looking to pitch original content and collaborate with other creatives and industry pros globally. I've collaborated with members in other countries through Stage 32.

This is encouraging new Ashley Renee Smith. I've got plenty of IP to move on so we just need to get the execs to be open to something new. I do think the answer lies in international collaboration.

Yes, I saw this—exciting times for the animation industry! The projected growth is a clear indicator that demand is only going to keep rising, and it’s great to see more opportunities opening up for independent studios and creators. I’m focused on expanding our capabilities in both 2D and 3D animation while also leveraging emerging tools like AI to streamline production. Pitching original content and collaborating on global projects are definitely on the radar, especially as more platforms seek unique animated storytelling.

It is nice to see some optimism after the recent collapse of Technicolor, MPC, The Mill, Micros Studios, Monolith Productions, On Animation etc., and with major animation industry production hubs like Quebec reporting an over 50% job loss during the last 20 months...

This means a lot to me as I like animation very much and I´m working on it now. Allow me to drop here my 30-second elevator pitch so that you know me better.
"Hi, I’m Maria Caeiro from Portugal, a former teacher and passionate storyteller with a deep connection to children. I’m currently writing an animation script to inspire love and compassion and highlight the harm of bullying. I’m eager to collaborate with a dedicated team to bring this impactful story to life."3 people like this
That was beautifully said, Maria Caeiro. Your heart for kids really shines through.

I really appreciate your comment Leonardo Ramirez 2 . Thanks. I think that one of the best ways to teach children is by giving them exemples of good practices, and cinema is one good option for that, as it is at the same time a form of entertainment.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but I hesitate. It depends on where you are located and how you fit into the mold.
