Do you remember a while back I announced that four of my projects had placed with only 35 others as finalists in the WRPN IMDb qualified festival for produced and unproduced screenplays, and novels? A win puts you on the radar of specific producers and distributors. Well (drum roll please) ALL FOUR ARE AWARD WINNERS!
"Sung Bong Choi - The Boy With No Name" won PLATINUM for BEST SCREENPLAY.
"The Dragon Who Found His Wings" won PLATINUM for BEST NOVEL (ahead of "Swan Song"... wow... which won...)
"Swan Song" won GOLD for BEST NOVEL, and
"Gaston Leroux - the man behind the man behind the mask" won GOLD for BEST SCREENPLAY.
WHOOP!
This is a second win for THE DRAGON WHO FOUND HIS WINGS and a THIRD win for SWAN SONG, with another pending next month.
It is a first time win for GASTON LEROUX and SUNG BONG CHOI... but also the first time both of those projects have ever been entered competitively.
LET THE BIDDING WARS BEGIN!!
