I can safely say that my screenwriting project has been a labour of love. One day I feel like the next William Goldman, the next I feel like Joseph Grand from Camus' 'The Plague' - struggling and agonising over a single sentence, or even word. Is that what it is like for everyone? I intend to get my project finished to a readable standard by mid-late August 2012 - what do I do then?
Beethoven often struggled over a single phrase or a single note. Shows that you can find yourself in those situations and yet still be essentially made of the stuff of greatness and artistic longevity. Learn to appreciate the perfectionist that you are. :-)
What do you do then? Edit, edit and edit a bit more! :-s
Thanks Dan. We shall see what happens when it is finished
