Introduce Yourself : Hello Screenwriters from Bend Oregon! by Michael St Lawrence

Michael St Lawrence

Hello Screenwriters from Bend Oregon!

Given that I just joined the site, seems a good idea to introduce myself! Been a writer my whole life, with most of my success with non-fiction (business books) and had one that hit the LA Times Bestseller list 17 weeks in a row. Been focused on screenplays the last year and finished two features that I'm really happy with.... one is a Western Comedy with a time travel element about a teenage punk rocker that shows up unexpectedly in a booming mining town and the other is a Mystery-Thriller about a search for a tantric relic created 1,000 years ago by Nepal's most famous historic sorcerer that is the source of a horrific family curse.

Although I'm new to selling screenplays, I own a consulting firm that helps large sales teams refine their messaging and pitch so I feel prepared to pitch, but I don't have a network in the film industry.

If I can be helpful to anyone about publishing non-fiction, or even about verbal messaging in general, feel free to reach out... or if you'd just like to connect and talk..

I'm hear to learn and form some meaningful connections and mutually helpful relationships.

Love surfing, biking, golf, playing electric guitars, skiing, dogs and yoga-meditation... Hit me up if I can be helpful. - Michael
