I've been writing screenplays for about 15 years, crafting stories that may be strange or simply out there, stories that've heart and explore human emotions. I love mixing the mythical with realism that digs into the heart of the story while keeping the audience on the edge of their seat.
Right now, I'm working on something I'm incredibly excited about, a Sasquatch-themed short film based on my feature-length script, Adventures of the hairy man ape.
The concept is a dark, gritty comedy. Think Pineapple Express meets The Revenant, only with Bigfoot. It's not your average dad campfire Sasquatch. This one rips through the woods like some funny, primal thing, while being chased by armed men, but there's an emotional core deep within the story.
The plan is to shoot a 5-page standalone short based on the larger script. We'll release it online to build buzz and spark interest in the full feature. Alongside it, we'll launch a GoFundMe to bring the next stage of the vision to life.
If you're a filmmaker, cinematographer, effect artist, or someone who just loves bold, original storytelling, I'd love to connect. I'm open to collaboration, feedback, or anything.
Also, I might add, this won't be a paid gig. Just people who would love to shoot something crazy for one day.
