Your Stage : Series Concept Idea by Morgan Knibbs

I have an idea for creating a new series called "Good Medicine" It revolves around this everyday young man Jason Daniels who has an aspiration to become a psychologist someday. Instead of poring through textbooks and theology he seeks out everyday people and listens to them and jots down in his journal what he has observed from watching them in his pursuit of becoming a psychology doctor. The first episode is about a young autistic girl who is nonverbal and experiences a breakdown of emotions, her parents want to help her but are finding it difficult how, so they call 911 and have the paramedics bring her to a psychiatry center. After Jason encounters her extraordinary gift of painting and music as a way of expressing herself, that opens the key to a painful memory that her parents discuss with Jason and helps them understand their daughter in a whole new way.
