THE MYSTERY OF THE PAINTING

INT. ART EXHIBITION HALL - EVENING
A large, elite art gallery filled with soft music, glowing lights, and wealthy art collectors admiring
expensive paintings.
WILLIAM (55), a rich and respected businessman, walks slowly through the gallery, his eyes
scanning the paintings. He seems bored - until -
He stops. His eyes freeze.
Before him hangs a painting. Mysterious. Haunting. A dark-eyed girl sitting beside a burning candle.
He stares.
People pass behind him, but he doesn't move. Minutes pass.
GALLERY CURATOR (O.S.)
Sir? Are you alright?
William blinks - as if waking from a trance.
WILLIAM
This painting... who made it?
CURATOR
A private artist. He doesn't sell much. This one is not for sale either.
WILLIAM (whispers)
I want it.
CURATOR
I'm afraid it's not possible, sir.
INT. WILLIAM'S MANSION - NIGHT
William lies in bed - eyes wide open. The painting's image is stuck in his mind. He sees it when he
blinks. Obsession has begun.
INT. GALLERY - NEXT MORNING
Police officers surround the area. The painting is missing. Stolen in the night.
William arrives, shocked - but his eyes strangely satisfied.
INT. INVESTIGATION HQ - DAY
A secret, elite investigative team is formed. Agents in suits analyze security footage.
LEAD INVESTIGATOR (40s)
Find that painting. And find out what's so special about it that people are willing to steal it.
EXT. CITY LOCATIONS - MONTAGE
- Surveillance checks
- Artists questioned
- A mysterious symbol found hidden in the painting's background
- Government officials quietly showing interest
