Kick-Ass 3 – A Punkrock Rebellion for the Modern Era

Kick-Ass left a mark on me when I was a kid. Today, I want to bring this franchise back to life with a fresh energy — more current, more free.

I envision a film where the heroes don’t have classic superpowers, but a much more human strength: their inner struggles, their commitment, their freedom of expression. A multiethnic team — Asians, Africans, Europeans, and many others — embodying diversity in all its forms.

Their costumes would be exaggerated, bold, featuring a hero in leather briefs proudly embracing his homosexuality. It would be a mix of humor, emotion, and rebellion.

Visually, the film would incorporate comic book elements: colorful onomatopoeias like SPLAAAHH bursting onto the screen, similar to the new animated Asterix and Obelix series on Netflix. The music would be PunkRocker by Teddy Bears — electric, raw, pulsing behind every action scene.

This Kick-Ass 3 wouldn’t just be a superhero movie. It would be a manifesto for freedom, tackling strong themes like the war in Palestine, social struggles, and sexual freedom — always with a quirky and accessible tone.

A film mixing humor, friendship, chosen family, and real fights, that could bring a unique breath to the genre.

I’d also love to see Dave back on screen for a brief but meaningful moment, older and wiser, in a scene where he puts on his iconic mask once again.

I truly believe this film could bring something fresh and much needed. Just like the new Superman created a real cultural wave beyond the screen — especially on platforms like TikTok and Instagram — I think this kind of rebellious, inclusive, and emotional superhero story would resonate deeply with today’s audience. We don’t need to go bigger. We need to go truer. <3

If this project speaks to you, I’m ready to work on it and collaborate with passionate talents.

You have a golden idea...

Hi Minh, I really approve of the concept, I loved Kick-Ass the first of the name, seeing it again in the cinema in 2025 with an air of novelty (story, character), the music thought it was ideal PunkRock, after seeing your profile I think your film Kick Ass 3 will have something unique.

Thank you for your feedback, I am very happy that this speaks to you.

Very good choice of music, you can already see the fight scenes in your head.

I can already picture the scenes with PunkRocker by Teddybears blasting in the background — it would be insane.

Imagine this:

Close-up on one of the heroes — sweaty, wide-eyed, dressed in leather, burning with energy.

<’Cause I’m a punkrocker, yes I am...> starts playing.

They charge into a street full of enemies.

With every punch: BOOOOM, KRAAAK, SPLAAAHH — comic book-style onomatopoeias explode across the screen in bold, animated bursts.

The visuals are neon-comic style: bright pinks, toxic greens, electric blues.

It’s chaotic, stylish, and full of raw emotion.

And in the middle of all that madness, there’s always a human moment: a glance, a line, a tear… or maybe a burst of laughter.

It’s not just action. It’s a heartfelt rebellion.

Final Scene Dave is Back - The Return of the True Hero INT. QUIET HOUSE - NIGHT

A man watches the news on TV. A new jroup of young, masked vigilantes is making headlines -brave, disorganized, and committed. The tone is mocking but intrigued.

We never see his face. Only his silhouette from behind, in the shadows.

He says nothing.

In the next room, a woman sleeps holding a baby. He gently approaches and kisses her forehead.

The baby stirs slightly.

He enters a closet.

Slowly.. he iconic "Flying Home" theme from the original kick-Ass begins to swell quietly.

He opens the door.

At the back, hanging on a rod...

The original Kick-Ass costume.

Folded, silent, yet intact.

He stares at it for a long moment.

His hand reaches out and takes only the mask

He puts it on.

Silence. Then he turns toward thec camera.

Cut to black.

Simple. Beautiful. Legendary.

The kind of scene that leaves the whole theater silent, shivering.. hen applauding.

And above all,it proves this film is about a passing of the torch:

> The heroes of yesterday no longer save the world.

But their flame has not died.

And if they must retur. . they will be there.

This is not a nostalgic return to flatter the past.

It's a sincere transmission between two generations:

- The one that wore the mask when no one believed in it,

- And the one daring to wear it today, for different struggles, different causes, with a new voice.
