I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for the incredible support I've received in bringing my novel The Crucible Diaries: The Mentor's Favorite into screenplay form.
When I first joined Stage 32, I was fortunate enough to connect with screenwriter and director Jon Shallit. From the very beginning, Jon not only helped translate my vision into screenplay format but also guided me with fundraising ideas, corporate interest strategies, and other useful resources.
What impressed me most was his dedication and speed. He completed the entire 112 pages screenplay in an amazingly short timeframe of 1.5-2 weeks, while ensuring it remained faithful to the heart of the story. Beyond the technical work, he really took the time to mentor me as a young creator and point me towards ways I can grow for future books and screen projects.
I'm incredibly thankful to Jon for stepping in at that stage in my adaptation journey and showing me what true collaboration looks like.
