Disabled Combat Veteran Screenwriter - Looking to network

Hello all!

I'm Mike and I am a disabled combat veteran screenwriter writing to keep myself busy. I am currently writing my third feature screenplay and I have submitted my second screenplay, Ronin on the Range to 8 film festivals, two of which made me a semi-finalist and official selection. I'm having a blast.

My background is in film and video as a videographer, I have a BA in Digital Film and Video Production.

I'm here because this is where my people are at.

Cheers, look forward to meeting you all.

Poe Nocturne

I am also a disabled veteran, It is inspiring to witness fellow Veterans pursuing their creative endeavors and striving to reach new heights in their artistic pursuits. I extend my gratitude for your service and commend you on your successful screenplays. Mike Schreurs

Maurice Vaughan Thanks friend. Still working on the best Logline but:

After escaping her family's massacre and the destruction of her homestead, a samurai-trained woman embarks on a blood-soaked journey across the frontier to kill each member of the outlaw gang responsible—one brutal death at a time.

You're welcome, Mike Schreurs. Sounds thrilling! I like the mix of cultures!

I think your logline is solid. You could post your script on your profile. Producers search profiles for projects. Click the gear symbol in the top right-hand corner and select “Edit profile” in the drop-down menu. Scroll down to “Loglines” and click “Add/edit loglines” to the right of “Loglines.” You can also post your script on your profile this way: www.stage32.com/loglines (near the top where it says “Add a Logline”)

Maurice Vaughan Duuuuude. Thanks. I'll get on it. Might as well share what I am writing currently:

When an exhausted frontier courier is tasked with delivering a mysterious bag, he becomes the target of gun-toting nuns, ruthless bandits, and a corrupt lawman—each convinced the package contains their salvation.

My first feature: A therapist grieving her lost love and burdened with regret is murdered by a demon and finds herself in a battle between angelic forces that could decide the fate of millions of souls--including her own.

You're welcome, Mike Schreurs. You come up with unique concepts! I'm looking forward to watching all three!
