My screenplay VILE SNOW WHITE has been selected as a Quarterfinalist in the 9th Stage 32 Sci-Fi/Fantasy Contest — and I consider this an overwhelming victory.
Why? Because this story is not safe. It is about corruption, manipulation, betrayal, and the false icons we worship — like Snow White — sweet and charming on screen, but ruthless predators in reality.
Not everyone dares to read it to the end. It shatters stereotypes, it kills the illusion of “safety.” But for those who make it through, it resonates on a deeper level.
This recognition tells me one thing: even the darkest stories deserve to be heard.
