Hi, everyone. My name is Rich. I work in the film industry as a storyboard/concept artist. I also do character designs plus graphics. Along with drawing and working on my iPad, I also record/write produce music/sync music for film. As we are in the Halloween spirit, I thought I would share this. I did this illustration/backdrop for a Halloween event. A tribute to the horror movies of the 30s and the 40s. I am a fan of such great classics as Nosferatu by F.W. Murnau that came out in the 20s and Frankenstein by James Whale. If you ever get a chance, watch those films and you can see the atmospheric qualities of tone and suspense. Where it all started. Happy Halloween, everyone!

Hi, Maurice. Haven’t watched any Universal horror films lately. Finished Corman’s Masque Of The Red Death. Also finished third version of Nosferatu. Highly recommend it.

Let me know what you think, Maurice. I have seen all three versions and they are all very good/excellent. The first one is a classic. I am a huge fan of German Expressionism and early horror classics.
