Andrey Shvidko

I'm Andrey Shvidko, a writer from Ukraine. My path to screenwriting began during the third year of war, born from an urgent need to create a world within my mind – a saner alternative to the surrounding madness.

This lifetime spent expressing feelings and sharing worldview through poetry, music, and prose now converges in my screenplays. What drives me is not just experience, but an honest and unbiased vision of this world and its processes, sharpened by the brutality and cynicism I witness around me and globally. This perspective helps me craft narratives that are deeply imaginative yet grounded in a compelling vision of our near future.

My writing explores Sci-Fi concepts with political elements, delving into stories that are not merely "fiction" but reflect the profound impact of emerging technologies and global societal shifts on humanity. Beyond this, I'm equally drawn to crafting complex thrillers and compelling dramas that challenge perceptions and spark vital discussions. I don't just write scripts; I create immersive worlds, and my works can both entertain and provoke deep reflection, generating internal contradictions in the minds of potential viewers.

I am actively seeking collaborations with producers, directors, and production companies who share a passion for innovative and impactful storytelling. I'm keen to connect with fellow creators and industry professionals to bring captivating visions to the screen. I am open to dialogue and cooperation!

Very nice words. I tried the same with my sci-fi action scripts. I can't get enough world building. I don't read Ukrainian, what is your script Get Off Me! about?

Hi, Andrey.

I’m developing a short to be shot in Ukraine early next year.

It’s a romantic drama… with a touch of sci fi or psycho drama, each viewer will see it their own way.

We will shoot in Lviv. Where are you based?

Geoff Hall

Jack Vincent Jack, that's amazing! You are a visionary. I wish you every success with it.
