Screenwriting : Double "Consider" by Pink Matzke

Double "Consider"

Hi everyone, yesterday I had a meeting with Spencer Robinson, and it went really well. When I read the feedback, I was left feeling very confused. I didn't receive a double pass or a double recommend, I received a double "Consider". I have no idea what that means, or what happens next. Lol So I guess I'll just wait and see. Hope you all are doing well! Keep creating!!!! Much love Pink

I'd suggest that means they think your script has potenital but needs more work i.e. heading in the right direction but not quite there yet.

Hi, @Pink. I emailed Support and asked. Here's what I heard back:

A Double Consider means that during the consultation, the executive gave a “Consider” rating for both the writer and the project. It’s a strong sign that the executive sees real potential in both areas and believes the writer is on a solid track with their material.

Here’s what it means internally:

A Consider is essentially an endorsement that the project or writer is worth watching, developing, or improving.

A Double Consider means both the writer and the project show promise and professional viability.

It is not the same as a Double Recommend, which triggers automatic internal notification and Look Book eligibility.

What happens after a Double Consider?

The writer does not automatically enter the Stage 32 Look Book.

However, a Double Consider is still a very positive outcome — many writers use it as a sign they’re close to the professional level and may be one rewrite away from a Recommend.

The executive may also personally follow up if they see a path forward, but that is entirely at their discretion.

If you or the writer have additional questions about consultation results or next steps, feel free to reach out to support@stage32.com.

Maurice thank you so much! You got way more information about it than I did all 4-5 times I asked lol! This is very helpful thanks again.

You're welcome, Pink Matzke. Congratulations on the Double Consider! Hope you get a Double Recommend next!
