I’ll be honest, I didn’t partake in the first two weeks of the writing club. After not working for close to two years now after several years as a manager, my lack of success so far as an author and now as a screenwriter forced me to find work and I am an entrepreneur since this summer. While I continue partaking in stage 32 community, most of my time was spent in my company.
But then, during week 3, I saw the Medevoy and thought it was the perfect platform for my coming of age drama so I worked on it intensely to improve on the notes I had received from a screenplay contest in October. I submitted the review version a few days ago. And then, motivated like never before I spent two entire days working on a French screenplay I had already started this summer and surprisingly, I was able to write 80 pages in these two days to finish the first draft. I will need to polish the screenplay (review the structure, improve the conflict and emotions…)
it was unexpected. Writing wasn’t at all my priority this week or this month but thanks to the motivation created by this community, the inspiration came naturally and efficiently. Thank you so much.
Ps: Now I want to continue writing. I don’t want to go back working.
