Introduce Yourself : Hello Cartoon Creatives! by Cheryl Chase

Cheryl Chase

Hello Cartoon Creatives!

I wanted to introduce myself. I do VO. I’m known for being the voice of Angelica Pickles on Rugrats. If you have a project where you need wacky voices, let’s collaborate.

I’m also writing an adult animated show and excited to see where that goes.

I wish you all much success with your animated projects!

Lauren Hackney

Great to meet you Cheryl Chase and thank you for lending your voice to Rugrats! I loved that show growing up. I hope to hear more success stories from you in the future!

Maurice Vaughan

Hi, Cheryl Chase. Hope you're doing great! I’m a Stage 32 Lounge Moderator. I wanted to let you know that I moved your post from the Animation Lounge to the Introduce Yourself Lounge since you're introducing yourself. The ways to connect with other members in the discipline Lounges (Animation Lounge, Producing Lounge, Filmmaking/Directing Lounge, etc.) are making helpful/educational posts and commenting on other people’s posts. Let me know if you have any questions.

You could also check Stage 32's Job Board for voice over jobs (www.stage32.com/find-jobs). It gets updated regularly.

G'day Cheryl Chase - so glad you introduced yourself here. I've just completed a rewrite on a family based animated script and am currently looking into getting a traditional 2D artist to produce a teaser. The script was long overdue, as I began my screenwriting journey with that concept, but filed it away for years. I hope to connect with you.

Marc Ginsburg

I would love to learn animation from you. I also need dramedic voices for my scriptcast. Dramedic means dramatic combined with comedic while scriptcast means a podcast of a script reading. It could also be of a book manuscript but if it's published it's a bookcast. If you'd like to participate or just discuss anything, message me.

hello cartoon creative, I’m trying to pitch my adult cartoon as we speak!

Cheryl Chase

How’s it been going with that? What’s your game plan for your show?

Kevin Hager

I was a fan of Rugrats for years.

Cheryl Chase I have been sending my scripts to executives on this website, I have gotten a lot of praise on its potential. Hopefully I will get it far enough to be able to have it produced and such. According to one executive I am very close.

That’s so awesome to hear and put a face to the voice! I watched that show many times before.
