I'm in the early stages of developing "Deadly Merchants," a limited series based on the true story of the first Chinese nationals ever designated as CPOTs (Consolidated Priority Organization Targets) by the DOJ — the same classification as Pablo Escobar and El Chapo. Only about 200 people in history have received this designation.
The story follows Daniel Ceron, who orchestrated North America's largest fentanyl operation from inside prison, with a redemption arc that gives it crossover appeal to both true crime and faith-based audiences.
Life rights secured. Series bible complete.
Currently looking for:
Experienced producers to help oversee pre-production
Line producers familiar with budgeting and scheduling at the series level
Anyone with connections to investors or financiers interested in true crime or faith-based content
Executive producers who can help package and pitch to platforms or buyers
If you've helped take a project from development through pre-production, or if you have experience connecting projects with funding, I'd love to hear from you.
Open to different partnership structures. Drop a comment or message me directly.
Thanks in advance.
