I'm in the early stages of developing "Deadly Merchants," a limited series based on the true story of the first Chinese nationals ever designated as CPOTs (Consolidated Priority Organization Targets) by the DOJ — the same classification as Pablo Escobar and El Chapo. Only about 200 people in history have received this designation.
The story follows Daniel Ceron, who orchestrated North America's largest fentanyl operation from inside prison, with a redemption arc that gives it crossover appeal to both true crime and faith-based audiences.
Life rights secured. Series bible complete.
Currently looking to connect with:
Directors with a vision for grounded true crime storytelling
ADs and production coordinators for pre-production planning
DPs and camera operators experienced in gritty, docu-style or cinematic drama
Editors and post-production supervisors
Sound, color, and VFX professionals for post
Anyone who wants to be part of a project from the ground up
Whether you're experienced or hungry to build your credits on something meaningful, I want to hear from you.
Open to different partnership and collaboration structures. Drop a comment or message me directly.
Thanks in advance.
Hi, Robert Peightal. I’m a Stage 32 Lounge Moderator. I wanted to let you know I moved your post from the Acting Lounge to the Your Stage Lounge. The ways to connect with other members in the discipline Lounges (Filmmaking/Directing Lounge, Producing Lounge, Distribution Lounge, etc.) are making helpful/educational posts and commenting on other people’s posts. Let me know if you have any questions.
You could also make a post for a pre-production team, director, and crew on the Job Board (www.stage32.com/find-jobs).
