Hey Everyone,
I learned about and joined Stage 32 about a month ago and this will be my first post.
I’m a Writer/Director who also loves Editing and Producing. I gravitate mostly to elevated genre and hi-concept stories involving characters struggling with philosophical dilemmas and psychological battles.
After years of creating short films and Directing a few micro drama series, I have just finished writing (2nd draft) of my first feature screenplay TWIN FLAMES, a gritty, elevated 1991 Crime Drama.
2025 was a revealing year of how real life can get. So many nights of 11pm-2am writing. Writing is hell and yet I love it. The feeling I felt when first earning those two words THE END was such a relief. A fleeting relief for I already knew the rewrites needed to come.
2026 is all about going after it! You have to bet on yourself before anyone else can see the value to bet on you! As I continually revise the script, I am creating a pitch deck and networking passionate people to join me on this venture. This is the way of Indie Filmmaking, no?
Look forward to exploring Stage 32 more for opportunities to learn and network with those maybe not so unattainable gate keepers!
Thanks for reading and feel free to connect with me!

Mike, Love this introduction! What software do you use for editing? Also, I love your journey of saying that writing as hell but you can’t imagine not doing it. Those 11 PM to 2 AM times are super special. What are you writing right now?

Hi Mike,
I’ve described 2025 the same way — a long, bumpy road: uncomfortable, arduous, and stressful. But 2026 is where it all changes. Everyone who put in the hard work this year and kept going, even when it was tough, is about to glow up. Like fireworks, we’ll shine, glitter, and bang our way across the sky — lighting it up in ways that can’t be ignored. The sky isn’t the limit; it’s just the beginning.
