Historical Series

Subject: True Multi-Generation American Saga — Limited Series Pitch Submission

Hello,

My name is Edwin K. Pugh, and I’m submitting a true historical series concept titled THE PUGH LINE for development consideration.

This project is a documented multi-generation American saga that begins with Welsh Quaker frontier colonization, follows the family through the founding of river settlements and Ohio town development, pivots into Prohibition-era law enforcement and the Pretty Boy Floyd manhunt, and carries the lineage through World War II into modern America.

The material is based on verified court records, census data, Quaker meeting minutes, and Library of Congress photographic documentation, and has been structured as a limited series concept with episode outlines prepared.

I am seeking a screenwriter and/or development partner interested in adapting this true American family epic for a limited series or docudrama format.

Pitch materials are available upon request.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Warm regards,

Edwin K. Pugh

Hi, Edwin Pugh. Welcome to the community. I’m a Stage 32 Lounge Moderator. I wanted to let you know that I moved your post from the TV Series Pitch Document Writing Lounge to the Introduce Yourself Lounge. The TV Series Pitch Document Writing Lounge isn't active anymore. Let me know if you have any questions.

Stage 32 has a blog that'll help you navigate the platform and connect with creatives and industry professionals all over the world. Screenwriters, producers, directors, executives, and more. www.stage32.com/blog/how-to-successfully-navigate-the-stage-32-platform-...

Stage 32's next Community Open House will be January 28th. It'll also help you navigate the platform and make connections. You can sign up for free here: www.stage32.com/education/products/stage-32s-january-2026-community-open...

I suggest adding a profile picture of yourself and a detailed bio to your profile. People will feel more comfortable networking and collaborating with you if they know what you look like. And if you have a picture, your profile will show up when someone searches for you. A detailed bio will help you build relationships/network on here. You could add things to your bio like why you joined the industry, your accomplishments, your goals, and what movies and shows you like.

You can upload a picture by clicking the gear symbol in the top right-hand corner and selecting “Edit profile” in the drop-down menu, then clicking the red button underneath your location and choosing "Update profile picture."
