Putting My Batman Script on Hold… to Create Something That’s Truly Mine

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share something personal and important in my screenwriting journey.

As you know I recently completed The Caped Crusader, a 134-page fan screenplay — my take on Batman: grounded, emotional, tactical, and deeply human. It was a labor of love, and I poured everything into it.

But today, I’ve decided to put it on hold.

Why? Because Batman is an IP. Because I don’t have a contact at Warner Bros. or DC who can consider it. And because, as much as I love the character, I want to move forward as a writer who creates original stories I can truly own.

So that’s what I’m doing next.

I’m starting fresh — maybe with a love story, maybe a suspense thriller — but it’ll be mine. A script I can register, pitch, and share without limitations.

The Caped Crusader isn’t dead. It’s just waiting for the right moment.

And in the meantime, something new is being born.

Thanks to everyone who’s encouraged me, challenged me, or simply listened.

This is just the beginning.
