John is a teenage boy who suffers from bullying at school and family problems. He doesn't know how to cope; he thinks that staying locked in his room helps. He meets a boy named Tyler, who becomes his best friend, helping him try to break free from his problems. John's mother, Mrs. Miller, tries to help John by taking him to a psychologist, but nothing helps. What really helps John is a friendship, a friendship he never had before.
