WINNER ANNOUNCED: Stage 32 + Pathfinder Film & TV Comedy Screenwriting Contest

Congratulations to the Winner of our Film & TV Comedy Screenwriting Contest in partnership with Pathfinder Media and his client Todd Biermann. The winner is Ted Sperling, with his comedy script, TREASURE INC.!

A co-ed bachelor party is swept into a high-stakes treasure hunt after finding clues leading to millions of dollars buried in the Idaho wilderness. Action comedy in the vein of GAME NIGHT meets CITY SLICKERS.

"TREASURE INC. is a propulsive ensemble comedy with elevated stakes, genuine heart, and an original voice that also feels familiar. Ted Sperling wrote a screenplay that plays like a crowd-pleaser and earns every beat of it. I’m excited to work with him.” - Director Todd Biermann

Also, major kudos and congrats to our TWO honorable mentions: Lissette Jean-Marie with her feature script BOOK F-CKER and the writing duo of Emma Pyne & Sarina Taylor with their pilot script SAFE WORD.

Per Todd:

"Lissette Jean-Marie is writing for the BookTok generation and she knows exactly how funny that world is from the inside. Guided by a crystal clear voice and authentic POV Book Fcker is sharp, current, and unique."

"Emma Pyne and Sarina Taylor cracked something genuinely hard to pull off, a pitch-black comedy with heart and relatable protagonist. The writing duo demonstrate sharp comic instincts, genuine structural skill, and rarer still, the ability to give a dirty, raucous premise genuine emotional weight."

And congratulations to everyone who placed in the contest as well!
