Hi everyone,
I’m Ezeonu Juliet, a new writer from Onitsha, Nigeria. I’m working on a 10-episode Nollywood fantasy series called "Daniel: The Boy Born of Magic" / "Daniel: Magicborn".
Logline: In modern Nigeria where spirit powers are banned, a 14-year-old orphan discovers his breath can bend fire to water. Hunted by DSS, he must learn why his birth was outlawed before the government kills him.
I just finished Episode 1 and I’m writing with WPS Office for now. Looking to connect with producers who know the fantasy/Nollywood space.
1. What budget range is realistic for a limited series like this in Nigeria?
2. Any advice for first-time writers pitching fantasy to Nollywood producers?
Happy to share the first 10 pages with anyone interested. Thanks for having me here!

Hi Ezeonu Juliet - welcome once again. The best way to connect with producers is to be active in the lounges and begin to build relationships with them. After this, you can always submit to them directly through script services: https://www.stage32.com/scriptservices/coverage. They have a first 10 pages review option there. Also, if you need any guidance on career path, reach out to success@stage32.com and let them know what you're working on. They will be more than happy to respond with next steps. We're glad you're with us!

Can't say it better than what Leonardo Ramirez laid out. I always have my first 10 covered by an exec to see if I'm jumping off the right way.
