Hello everyone, this is my first time on this site, and I am so excited to be here. I am in college right now, to make my way to get my bachelor's in creative writing and screenwriting. I can’t wait to learn, improve my skills, and see what I can create with what I learn from this site.

Welcome — and honestly, your excitement comes through right away, which is a great place to start.
It’s a strong decision to study creative writing and screenwriting at the same time. That combination can really help you develop both voice and structure early on, which many writers struggle with later.
One thing I’d gently suggest (from experience) is this: don’t wait until you “feel ready” to start creating complete work. Start finishing small projects as early as possible — even short scenes, short scripts, or character pieces. That habit will set you apart faster than anything else.
Out of curiosity — what kind of stories are you most drawn to right now? Are you leaning more toward character-driven narratives, or more plot-focused concepts?
