A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, a friend of mine wrote a comedy Woody Allen would have done if not for his commitments to Paramount, and Peter Sellers wanted to co-star, but not without Wood Allen. Woody Allen referred my friend to his agent, but, due to the very controversial content of the story, the agent killed it. I suggested a rewrite, but at the time my friend was so burnt on it, he couldn’t look at it ever again. So, with his okay, I took it and rewrote it, changing the male leads to females, and tweaked the story. It is just as timely today, if not more so, and just as funny, but still so incredibly controversial only a lunatic would produce it. Yet, it is the controversy that would have everyone laughing all the way to the bank. I have a completed script, and over the years would update it, though I haven’t in a while. Anyone interested in knowing more? And if so, maybe help move it along if found feasible?
